
In 1973, at just 20 years old, Randy Fasig launched Fasig’s Sugar and Spice, a small company dedicated to bold flavors. But as a lifelong coffee enthusiast, Randy struggled to find the kind of high-quality coffee he craved. That challenge sparked a transformation, leading to what would become Fasig’s Coffee.
At the beginning, Fasig’s Coffee offered only two decaf coffees and five regular varieties. Eager to make coffee more inviting, Randy began experimenting with flavored blends — a groundbreaking idea at the time. The first creations, Chocolate, Vanilla, Cinnamon, and Amaretto, paved the way for a flavor revolution. Soon after came fan favorites like Jazzy Java, developed for iced coffee, and the now-famous Pumpkin Spice, which helped ignite a nationwide trend for pumpkin-flavored everything.
Fasig’s Coffee quickly expanded, appearing on supermarket shelves across the Eastern United States and earning a reputation for its quality, creativity, and passion for flavor.
Today, Randy devotes his time to mentoring coffee startups, sharing decades of knowledge to help new roasters grow and thrive. Nearly fifty years after its humble beginnings, Fasig’s Coffee remains a proud testament to curiosity, innovation, and a deep love for the perfect cup.
